Job Title: Bartender

Job Description: We are seeking a polished, hospitality-driven bartender to create exceptional member experiences. The bartender will play a vital role by providing attentive, personalized and professional service to club members and their guests. The bartender should bring craftsmanship, composure, and personality to the bar. This role requires technical skill, strong product knowledge, and the ability to create memorable member experiences while upholding the elevated standards of a private club environment.
Professional Qualifications:
2+ years of bartending experience in upscale dining, luxury hospitality, private club/resort environment
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wines, and premium spirits
Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service
Professional appearance and polished communication skills
Professional demeanor and the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced, high-performance setting
Strong sense of urgency
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach
Availability to work a non-traditional schedule of operations supporting a member-driven environment
Ability to stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
Working expertise in health and safety guidelines
Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
Essential Duties:
Prepare and serve premium cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty beverages with consistency and precision
Maintain thorough knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine selections, and seasonal offerings
Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
Assist with monthly inventory counts and report shortage to management
Engage members professionally while maintaining discretion and club-level etiquette
Actively listen, anticipate, understand and respond to member & guest needs
Be knowledgeable about club happenings & offerings
Present menus with a detailed knowledge of our food & beverage offerings
Accurately take and enter orders using the POS system
Serve food and beverages with attention to detail, presentation, and timing
Maintain an elevated standard of cleanliness and organization in the bar & dining area
Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, host and management teams to ensure seamless service
Uphold club standards of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
Assist with special events, private gatherings, and race-day hospitality service
Adhere to all sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control laws and policies
Performs all other job-related duties as assigned by the manager

Working Conditions:
The position involves standing for extended periods, working in non-traditional conditions. Candidates should be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors during events and race weekends.
